Erasmus+ Key Action 2 – Capacity building in the field of higher education (CBHE)

Welcome

The general goal of the project is to create new competences and new thinking in gender equality and improve education in gender studies of students of modernised MA Programs in Social and Behavioral Sciences and to promote the convergence of the education system in EU-neighboring countries with European state education systems.

Project is aimed at:
Developing theoretical and practical basis of innovative teaching methods and approaches for trainings in Gender Studies.
Improving the understanding of the problematic of gender education and to acquire the necessary experience and skills of teaching staff.
Preparing the first qualified graduates as social science researchers, who will have a wide range of methodological and epistemological approaches to Gender Studies.

By achieving the listed objectives it is expected that project will promote strengthening of ties between Europeans and their neighbours and realize positive changes in gender equality in the world community.

Project consortium is formed on the basis of professionalism, mutual complement and quality sufficient experience of project implementation. It consists of 10 higher education institutions from Lithuania,  Greece, Hungary,  Morocco, Tunisia  and  Ukraine and 3 NVO as associated partners.

Project is of duration of 3 years. It started on the 15 th of October, 2015 and will end on the 30th of April, 2019.

Dissemination activities will include publications, press, posters, printed promotion material, etc. A number of international multiplier events will be organised for supporting project dissemination: three international schools, two international conferences, seminar of Young Teachers & Scientists, and Forum.
