Artificial intelligence is being actively implemented in many areas, including education. It is expected that the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the near future will become the main factor in the evolution of the entire educational system. Even today, artificial intelligence can greatly help all participants in the educational process [1-3].

Artificial intelligence will play a key role in realizing the idea of personalized learning - tailoring learning, its content and pace to the specific needs of each student. Artificial intelligence provides the ability to extract data from a variety of sources, validate this data and analyze it using tools such as predictive analytics and machine learning, thus its promising potential in the field of educational technologies can be unlocked and its use can play the role of a catalyst for the transformation of education for all interested parties[2, 4-5].

Today, in the context of universal digitalization, one of the most popular and promising areas of development is the field of artificial intelligence. There are not only many interesting specialties and opportunities for young people to connect their future with the latest relevant professions, but also technologies for educators, with the help of which familiar learning topics can be turned into an exciting and educational adventure.

At the current moment, the use of artificial intelligence technologies can qualitatively solve the problem of personalization and adaptation of learning. With the help of algorithms, a computer is able to track the successes and failures of students and build an individual educational trajectory for it, which can dynamically rebuild as the student develops. That is why the personalization of learning occurs due to the adaptation of the student's educational process to his individual learning rate. Artificial intelligence takes into account the methodology and pace of mastering the material, the needs of each student, his special interests and preferences, and offers tasks of increasing complexity [6, 7].

In addition, the following advantage is also important - learning with the help of artificial intelligence becomes available for students with disabilities, as well as for students who are not physically located in the same place. Thanks to artificial intelligence technologies, it has become possible to facilitate the monotonous and laborious work of teachers in checking assignments - there is an automatic assessment system that uses computer programs that imitate the behavior of a teacher when checking independent work. She evaluates the student's knowledge, analyzes the answers and gives individual feedback.

Most online learning programs use gamification, which increases engagement and learning efficiency. Thus, the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning is actively used by services for learning foreign languages, such as Lingualeo, Duolingo and Skyeng. Artificial intelligence is used today not only by language schools. Higher education institutions around the world are also using artificial intelligence to pull up underachieving students in different subjects, helping the teacher to tailor the learning process to the needs of each student [2, 6,7].

Machine learning, the effective use of data and analytics can all help educators transform the learning experience and make it more fun, for example, through the use of technologies for immersive virtual environments. Artificial intelligence increases the importance of the teaching profession - its capabilities are expanding in accordance with the ability to apply new technologies in their educational activities. The role of the teacher is shifting from a transmitter of knowledge to a bearer of the philosophy of the subject being studied, capable of broadcasting conceptual things that are not available to a computer.

At the moment, it is safe to say that artificial intelligence is not only the basis of modern online learning, but also an assistant to teachers. The rapidly developing world gives a person access to a huge number of opportunities and information. However, the profession of a teacher will not disappear from modern reality: the roles of a teacher are transforming and changing, but a computer is unlikely to ever be able to completely replace a person in the most important mission of transferring knowledge.
